Description
Dzi have long held a sacred place in Tibetan tradition, representing faith, aspiration and protection. They are offered before Buddhas, bodhisattvas and meditation deities as part of prayers for fulfilment, harmonious relationships and growing merit.
This Kurukulla Seven-Line Dzi was offered before Kurukulla during the Love Blessing ceremony, with recitation, consecration and dedication according to Tibetan Buddhist ritual. It may be worn or placed on a shrine as a reminder of those prayers and intentions.
Kurukulla is a Tibetan Buddhist deity associated with compassionate connection and harmony, understood as an expression of wisdom and compassion. Her symbolism concerns wholesome relationships and clear intentions. The seven lines represent completeness, communication and connection, and are traditionally associated with emotional balance, lasting bonds and inner confidence.
The traditional symbolism of Kurukulla Seven-Line Dzi includes:
- An intention for confidence and positive connections
- An intention for natural, harmonious relationships
- An intention for open communication and understanding
- An intention for emotional steadiness and peace of mind
- An intention for healthy connections and freedom from draining relationships
Qi Xi presents this piece with the wish that Kurukulla's symbolism inspires wholesome connections, peace of mind, compassion and wisdom.
