Tsa Tsa are miniature devotional images or stupas within Tibetan culture, made for an altar or personal keeping. The original product records describe a mixture of sacred earth, incense ash and ritual pills, pressed by hand while prayers are recited.

In the traditional story recounted in the original description, Padmasambhava encounters a scorpion with nine heads, eighteen claws and three eyes on each head in a charnel ground. The scorpion brings Vajrakilaya texts from a triangular stone casket; after understanding them, Padmasambhava receives the title of Scorpion Master.

The nine-headed scorpion is thus associated with Padmasambhava’s wrathful imagery and protection in the Nyingma tradition. This piece expresses resolve amid disturbance and continues the original themes of personal and livelihood protection.

According to the brand’s original records, this collection was consecrated by practitioners of Tashi Monastery and Jigme Rinpoche. It may be worn or kept close in a way that feels comfortable and respectful.

Size, materials and mineral pigments vary between designs. Brand records describe handcrafting and ritual consecration by practitioners. Take time to appreciate the imagery, workmanship and intention behind each piece.

Offered with care by Qi Xi, may this piece accompany kind intentions and thoughtful actions, with meaning that stays close.
